Hi everyone, Last week I walked the Dudley Mill Pond Site with the folks from Wildlands. For anyone interested, I sent out a link to the photo log of the visit. As shown in red in the drawings there are a couple of spots were "floodplain outlets" were added and large areas of brush toe on bends, and some additional rock material was added in -stream in a couple riffle areas to help deal with the increased velocity due to the relatively quick drop in slope across the former main pond bed. Everything appeared stable. The report notes a bare area where the groundcover has been sparse due to a low pH (the value is not in report but they said on -site it was 3.8). They've limed that area and other bare spots (there are several within the old pond bed adjacent to the stream channel, which will be noted in the letter and are worth watching in the coming years. They are visible in my photo log. I will be getting the credit release letter out soon, let me know if you have any questions or comments.
