WE look forward to working with you on this as the review progresses. Thanks! i. First, you are only planning for two BMPs to treat the entire site? Correct, Building A flows to the sand filter beside it. Building C and the road flows to the wet pond plan south. The plan review is under the jurisdiction of the Town of Huntersville and will comply with all applicable regulations as manded by NCDEQ. The engineer has included the attached sheet from the SW plan drawings 2. Second, what is the reasoning behind this road stub? That road stub is a Town of Huntersville requirement for block length and potential future connectivity. There are currently no plans for the adjacent land; however, we are aware that any future connectivity would also require compliance with Section 404/401 and any potential impacts from future connectivity would likely be viewed cumulatively and require submittal of an Individual Permit application. 3. Third, if construction is planned on the up gradient side of the avoided wetland, that could effectively kill the hydrology of the wetland. How are you planning on maintaining hydrology to that system? During construction we are temporarily diverting sediment laden water away from the wetland in question to be captured in a sediment basin. Once the surrounding area is regraded and stabilized, normal overland water flow can be directed toward the wetland. Third, if 2 construction is planned on the up gradient side of the avoided wetland, that could effectively kill the hydrology of the wetland.
