Dear Jeanette Powell:
TOWN COUNCM
LOU11SE W. HINTON
KATE C. BURNS
On Thursday May 12, 2022, you contacted the Town of Nashville to inform us that NCDEQ does not have a record of the
required Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit renewal application on file, which was due on August
23, 2021. Though we do not understand how this oversight occurred we are committed to providing all necessary
documentation and completing all necessary steps to ensure compliance.
It is the Town's understanding that a written Stormwater Management Plan must be developed and submitted to
NCDEQ. I regret to inform you that I have been unable to locate the requested document but want to reiterate our
commitment to compliance.
Sincerely,
Lee Brown
Director of Public Works
Town of Nashville
