Yes there is a new contractor, Daniel is off the project. This all happened on Tuesday. I have a new application ready to go but am waiting on a design, which may tweak the application some. I have provided them an area of the original impervious surface within the buffer that they can work with, per our original conversation. I have attached the agent authorization signed by the landowner. Will this allow me to withdraw the application? If so I would like to withdraw it. Do you know what's going on? Can the clients withdraw the application? Or do you have an agent authorization? Otherwise I'm going to have to write a denial letter at this point. I believe you just need to send an email but this NEEDS to be done. You requested this so it needs to come from you. Colleen, I have a new submittal in the works. The landowner is trying to decide how to redo the backyard within the existing impervious surface in the buffer and the areas outside of the buffer. This has not fallen off of my radar. Daniel, Please coordinate with Colleen at NCDWR about withdrawing the buffer authorization for Duncansby Ct. I will be resubmitting this once I have all of the appropriate information. I believe Stephanie emailed a request for additional information to the contractor listed on the application. Per our phone conversation, you had indicated that they may be withdrawing this application and resubmitting as a 401/BA. Colleen, Have you had any time to think about or discuss the use of artificial turf in the buffer. It is impervious and will not require additional fertilizer in the future. Just curious if NCDWR has allowed this in the past. The idea being no fertilizer will be required. I have not come across this before and am unsure how NCDWR will view this. Thanks for taking time this morning. Anytime Thursday would work for me. I know we'll probably talk about it Thursday, but is it supposed to be only a buffer authorization or are there 401 impacts associated with it as well? Colleen, We have been contacted about an ongoing project at 126 Duncansby Ct. in Cary, project number 20220131. This probably just came through to you and you may not have had time to review it. We are being asked to help with some FEMA issues as well and make sure everything is in order for DWR/USACE permitting. The buffer authorization was submitted by a contractor/builder and I have reviewed and noticed some issues with it already. Example there is no impact amount for the buffers. I foresee me needing to either resubmit or work to get you the correct information and I thought a call would make that go smoother in the end.. Do you have some time either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to discuss this? I can set up a Teams meeting. Hope you are doing well.
