SUBJECT: Flow Acceptance — Soonie Plaza (5855 Yadkin Road)
This letter is in response to the inquiry regarding the availability of sanitary sewer to
serve the proposed Soonie Plaza project located at 5855 Yadkin Road in the City of
Fayetteville, Cumberland County NC.
Song Y. Kim has submitted a permit application for a private pump station and private
force main on this project. The Public Works Commission does not have an operation
and maintenance agreement with Song Y. Kim, but has agreed to accept and treat sanitary
sewer from this project. The sewage and wastewater collected by this system shall be
treated in the Fayetteville Public Works Commission Rockfish Creek Wastewater
Treatment Facility (NPDES Permit No. NC0050105) prior to being discharged into the
receiving stream. The projected flow for this development is 5,675 gallons per day. The
Rockfish Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility has the capacity to accept the flow
generated by this project.
