The irrigation system utilized by the Eagle Creek wastewater system is operated and managed by the Eagle Creek Golf Course. The golf course refused to give us access to
the results until recently. Upon receipt, the data lacked sufficient detail to permit us to report application per zone on a daily basis rather the information was a monthly
total of water irrigated for the entire month.
In amending these NDAR reports, we used the following methodology/assumptions.
1. No irrigation occurred on days with precipitation greater than a 'trace'.
2. The total flow was spread evenly across each potential day available for irrigation.
3. We analyzed the data from the corresponding month from the prior year to determine percent of total flow applied to each of the four zones.
4. Based on the percent calculated from the corresponding prior year month, the report reflects the amount calculated
By way of example, if there were 20 potential irrigation days during the month with 2,000,000 gallons irrigated, the report assumes 100,000 gallons irrigated for each of
those days.
If the corresponding month from the prior year indicated that the following percentages
Zone 1 —10%
Zone 2—25%
Zone 3—35%
Zone 4—30%
Then the report was amended to show...
10,000 gallons applied on Zone 1 for each irrigation day
25,000 gallons applied on Zone 2 for each irrigation day
35,000 gallons applied on Zone 3 for each irrigation day
30,000 gallons applied on Zone 4 for each irrigation day.
