Re: Monthly NPDES Compliance Submittal for February 2022
Old Salisbury Road Landfill, Forsyth County, North Carolina
Permit No. NCG120095
Dear Mr. Hiatt:
As you are aware, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County City/County Utilities Commission is m
stormwater on a monthly basis under Permit No. NCG120095 at the Old Salisbury Road Landfill Ij
3336 Old Salisbury Road in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (NC). The monthly monitoring was
following consecutive exceedances of the total suspended solids (TSS) benchmark at outfalls #:
and #11. The purpose of this correspondence is to report that there was no discharge in Febrt;
at outfalls #1, #6, #7, or #11 during a qualifying storm event within a timeframe that would
submittal of fecal coliform samples to the laboratory within the hold time. The Stormwater [
Monitoring Report is attached.
Also note that we are awaiting a response to our January 28, 2020, submittal related to I
testing as part of the Work Plan for fecal coliform exceedances. If you have any questions or
additional information, please contact us. We appreciate your assistance with this project.
Sincerely,
WINSTON-SALEM/FORSYTH C9UNTy_CLn466NTY UTILITIES OMMISSION
