Observatlons And Comments To Center Owners/Ooerdfors: Both ponds were in excellent condition. We seeded both pond banks with a combination of w111ter rye and un-hulled Bermuda. This seed is showing excellent emergence. The annual cutting and spraying of the cattails in pond 2 was also undertaken at this time. Addt#ional rip -rap was added to both pond's intake piping, additional rip -rap was also added to pond i °s outfall box. Accumulated crash will be removed from basin grates, basin bottoms and piping % will be checked for obstructions and cleared as necessary. V Pond inlet pipes wilt be checked for undercutting. In accordance with our original stormwa.ter permit, it was our intent to discharge runoff from Beacon Woods detention pond No. 2 into the road ditch along the north side of Hidden Valley Road. During construction of the pond outfall, we discuvexud the direction of runoff in the road ditch flowed in a westerly direction. Our original outfall was proposed in an easterly direction. Jnstallation of the outfall in the easterly directi-ii, as originally proposed, appeared futile since the outflow would eventually reverse and flow backs in a westerly direction_ To match field conditions, we installed the outfall to discharge to the west since the outflow ultimately flowed in the same direction regardless of the direction of the outfall installation. They felt this would not be acceptable_ We immediately began to address their concerns_ An alternate drainage route was proposed to direct runoff tbrough an existing ditch along the soutli side of Roseman Trailer Park, Developers of. bath Cross Winds and the Roseman Trailer Park and ourselves tentatively agreed to a proposed re-route through an existing ditch along the south side of the RiDsexuan Trailer Nark.
