GENERAL NOTES

TREE, STORM DRAINAGE, AND UTILITIES. EXISTING UTILITIES SHOWN ARE
APPROXIMATE AND HAVE NOT BEEN INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED BY THE OWNER OR
ENGINEER. THEREFORE, THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE
EXACT VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LOCATIONS OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES. ANY
DISCREPANCIES OR CONFLICTS FOUND WITH VERIFICATION OF EXISTING
CONDITIONS AND UTILITIES SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE OWNER AND ENGINEER.
ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CORRECTIVE WORK OR DAMAGES THAT ARE A
RESULT OF THE CONTRACTOR NOT VERIFYING EXISTING CONDITIONS AND LOCATING
EXISTING UTILITIES WILL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN AND BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR JOBSITE
SAFETY.
6. AN AUTOCAD BASE PLAN OF THIS DRAWINGS CAN BE PROVIDED TO THE
CONTRACTOR UPON REQUEST. ENGINEER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
ERRORS IN ELECTRONIC DATA.
7. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL PLANS AND
COORDINATION WITH THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE FOR LANE/ROAD CLOSURES AS
