Re: Lake Creek Corporation Waste Water Treatment Plant
Spray Irrigation System Permit WO.0018708
Dear Mr. Honeycutt:
 6
Lake Creek Corporation has engaged LKC Engineering to study the subject wastewater treatment plant
and spray field in the context of the above referenced permit. We are working with Envirolink who, as
you know, are on contract to operate the subject plant and collect ;payments and handle related
business for Lake Creek.
On behalf of. Lake Creek, the purpose of this letter is to respond to your letter to dated April 9th, 2015
and Violation I and corrective action discussed therein.
Please know that prior to your April 9' letter to Lake Creek, LKC had begun work on the question of flow
for the subject system. LKC is in the process of gathering information and studying the system to a
degree already, and we plan to be onsite again in the coming weeks to continue our work. As a part of
our work, just a few days ago, soil that Mike Myers and I recommended have visited the.
facility at Bay Tree Lakes. Over the-next,60 days, Envirolink and LKC will work with Lake Creek and a soil
scientist to develop alternative solutionson the question of flow for review by, our client. Over this
period, we will likely need to collaborate with your office and hope; that you will be able to
accommodate us in that process. Our goal -will be to arrive at a solution that works well for all parties.
concerned.
With regards to Violation II, I understand that Steve Jones will give you a call if he has not already done
so.
Please contact Steve Jones, at (704) 576-8462, or our office 11 at (910) , 420-1437 or
adam@lkcengineering.com if:you have any questions.
Sincerely
LKC Engineering, PLLC

You have zoomed in beyond the scale at which the soil map for this area is intended to be used. Mapping of soils is done at a
particular scale. The soil surveys that comprise your AOI were mapped at 1:24,000. The design of map units and the level of
detail shown in the resulting soil map are dependent on that map scale. ,
Enlargement of maps beyond the scale of mapping can cause misunderstanding of the detail of mapping and accuracy of soil
line placement. The maps do not show the small areas of contrasting soils that could have been shown at a more detailed
scale.
