Staging areas, stockpile azeas, construction entrances and access roads will be identified and located according to the Construction Documents. 2. The primary construction entrance (as shown on the Erosion Control Plans) from Mirror Lake Drive will be installed for access to the property. 3. The Contractor will install silt fencing, as noted on the Erasion Control Plans, at applicable staging and stockpile areas. 4. The proposed stream improvements and structure locations will be staked for Lowery Creek. 5. The Contractor will begin stockpiling materials in designated staging areas. The project will be divided into two distinct sections. General details associated with all sections include: a. Temporary and permanent seed mixes, including applicable mulching, will be applied to the streambanks and disturbed areas at the end of each working day as definable sections are completed. Erosion control matting will be installed on top of the seed and straw according to Construction Documents. b. Excavated material that is stockpiled, will fallow erosion and sediment control guidelines as they relate to material storage and stockpiling. c. All remaining disturbed areas are to be seeded and covered according to the Construction Documents. 6. Boulders and materials used for stream structures will be delivered through the primary construction entrance and stockpiled in appropriate areas. 7. The Contractor will install gravel construction entrance off of existing driveway at 10+00. 8. A temporary culverted aossing will be installed across the ditch in the vicinity of 13+00. The Contractor will install a stone silt screen immediately downstream of the crossing. 9. The Contractor will reroute existing drainage ditch to intersect the stream channel at 10+00. Once rerouting is complete the remainder of the existing ditch will serve as a fill area for waste material. ]0. All disturbed stream banks will be seeded, mulched and matted through this reach. 11. The Contractor will realign the channel between station 11+00 and 13+50 and construct bankfull benches, A log vane-j-hook-rootwad-combo will be installed at station 11+SD. A log vane will be installed at station 12+50 and second log vane j-hook rootwad combo will be installed at station 13+OD. 12. All spoil material will be stockpiled in designated locations as indicated on the approved erosion and sedimentation control plan. 13. All disturbed stream banks will be seeded, mulched and matted through this reach. 14. The contractor will remove the temporary culverted stream crossing left of station 13+00 and install the silt check m the existing ditch. 15.11re Contractor will construct the Open Water Habitat as specified in the Construction Documents. Waste material will be used to backfil] the existing ditch downstream of the open water habitat. 16. The Contractor will install all plant material associated with the Open Water Habitat. ] 7. Al] areas outside the stream channel that have been disturbed shall be seeded and mulched. 18. At the end of each working day, the Contractor will be responsible far the application of seed and straw, as applicable, to the newly established streambanks and disturbed areas. Erosion control matting will be installed on tap of the seed and straw according to Constn3ction Documents. 19, Once all construction activities are complete and project site is stabilized, the remaining construction entrance and staging area can be removed. The areas shall be seeded and mulched. 20. All woody plant material will be installed during the first dormant season immediately following construction.
