WITNESSETH: That the Grantor, for a valuable consideration paid by Grantee, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain,
sell and convey unto the Grantee, in fee simple, all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being in Grove Township, Harnett County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as
follows:
A certain block of land and part of the John W. Williams Estate and Plat drawn by Herbert
L. Johnson, County Surveyor, October 22nd, 1941 This being Block No, 1 (one) on Plot being
in Grove Township. Beginning in the Northeast corner at a pine stump, North 85 West 492 feet;
thence S. 10.15 West 68.5 feet; thence South 21 West 222.5 feet; thence S. 10.15 West 334 feet;
thence S. 16.30 East 144.00 feet; thence 26 West 201 feet to a stake in the Persimmon Branch,
adjoining Coats School and T. D. Stewart; thence South 95 East 393.5 feet to a corner in Coats
and Benson Road adjoining Mrs. R. F. Blackwelder and T. D. Stewart; thence South 78.30 West
198.7 feet to a comer in the Coats Benson Road adjoining Mrs. R. F. Blackwelder and M. R.
Surles; thence North 6.30 E. 872 feet to the beginning corner, containing 11.29 acres.
And being the same lands described in deed of Joseph 1. Williams and wife, Gertrude A. Williams,
Eugene Morgan, et als, to Mrs. Maggie C. Williams for and during her natural life and then to
Thomas G. Williams and wife, Maggie B. Williams, now deceased, dated October 25, 1941, and
