I just sent the note below and I had intended to cc you. From: Devane, Boyd Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 4:33 PM To: Georgoulias, Bethany; Bennett, Bradley; Pickle, Ken Cc: Cyndi Karoly Subject: Do mines have impervious areas? We've got an application from Martin Marietta to place several 60" pipes, 40' long across wetlands to allow their haul trucks to get to their sand pit (Garner). They claim on the application form that the site is "O% impervious ". It may not be a big deal but do either of you have any experience or knowledge about how we have treated the compacted sand or gravel roads when considering stormwater impacts?
