HomeMy WebLinkAboutNC0025321_SOC - March 2022 Quarterly Report_20220414March 2022 Quarterly report as required by SOC section 2 (b) 8. We are still currently receiving monthly NOVS much to our frustration. February, we received a large snow event and several heavy rain days. Our monthly precipitation totals were just over 10 inches for February. We had to have the hydraulic pack rebuilt on the press and had a belt break. This caused 2 weeks of down time on the press that we were unable to remove sludge from the plant. We are making every effort to keep sludge moving and removed from the plant. Value engineering with Harper Construction is underway. A few design modifications are being considered to reduce the over all price of construction. One problem we've had to address was the bridge coming into the plant. We have been able to get a verbal agreement with the landowner and the county to build an access road from the Haywood County Fairgrounds to Walnut trail road. This will eliminate the replacing or upgrading the bridge prior to construction. We have a tentative plan to break ground somewhere around the end of June first part of July. This is still contingent on the approval of the DWR and DWI on the plan modification.
