This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Rich Holder (Contract Operator, Western Carolina Environmental) was present during the inspection. The system is located directly behind the home and the lids all have risers. The discharge pipe is located off a narrow path that veers to the left at the back of the property. This is a Jet Aeration System with no sand filter. Mr. Holder stated that he pumps the entire system every 3 years, including the chlorine contact chamber. The system was last pumped on 5/12/2020. The effluent was last sampled on 9/29/2021 and results were in compliance with the general permit. NCG551591 17 (Cont.)
