This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with permit no. WQCS00218. Tyler Boone (WWTP ORC) was present during the inspection. The collection system was built in 1996 and contains two lift duplex stations and three aerial lines. Inspections: High priority line inspections have not been documented as required by the deemed permitted rules. Immediately following the inspection, Mr. Boone established a system to record these inspections moving forward and began recording inspections. Lift stations: At the time of the inspection, the panel box at Cranberry Lift Station needed repair. The panel box had originally been mounted on plywood, which has now deteriorated to the point where the panel needs additional support beams propped up against it to remain upright. The Town has purchased new parts to mount the panel box and Mr. Boone stated that he anticipates this work to be completed within one month. Mr. Boone stated that they are beginning to see some issues with grease at the lift station that catches wastewater from the local school and an elderly care facility. He plans to visit both facilities to determine the source of the grease contribution. The following deficiency was noted during the inspection: Inspections: High priority line inspections have not been documented as required.
