This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Ms. Williams met with Sarah Armstrong (owner) during the inspection. The septic tank is located to the left of the house and the sand filter is behind the home – the grass is clearly growing differently in this area. No ponding was noted. The discharge pipe is located to the right of the bridge at the back of the property. Ms. Armstrong stated that the pipe does not discharge, which was confirmed during the inspection. Ms. Williams explained the requirement to have the effluent sampled should the system begin to discharge. The tank was pumped 3/29/2022. NCG550445 17 (Cont.)
