Subject- Response to NOV for Permit NCG500244 Bulk Waynesville Plant
Dear Mr. Boss.
Responding the NOV for the Non- Contact Water. Premier Magnesia was confused on that
each non -contact waster outfall needed to sample every six months. This has been identified
and acknowledged. All 8 of the non- contact water outfalls have been identified and labeled.
On April 21, 2022, Pace Analytical carve on site to pull the samples.
We successfully pulled 6 of the 8 outfalls. Outfalls 2 and 3 did not have any Flow since they
are the Hot Well helpers do not discharge daily. Maybe only once a month.
I am still checking outfall 2 and outfall 3 flow since they are Hot Well Helpers and do not
discharge daily. When we get flow, we will get the sample for Pace.
What I have attached is what I sent Inspector Lauren Armine
1. Map of the Non- Contact Water Outfalls they have all been Labeled and identified.
2. Pace Analytical sample sheet for 6 of our 8 outfall samples
3. Excel sample sheet from 6 of the 8 outfalls
With the Samples taken everything was complying.
Our next sampling for non -contact water will be October 2022
We will continue to monitor outfall 2 and 3 since they are the same outfall 1. We expect the
results to be the same as outfall # 1
