RE: FOURTH QUARTER 2021 STORMWATER DISCHARGE MONITORING REPORT
Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc.
Greensboro, North Carolina Facility
4715 Evans Town Road
Greensboro, North Carolina 27406
Certificate of Coverage NCG080018
Dear Stormwater Coordinator:
On behalf of Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., GEOS Environmental, Inc. (GEOS) submits the attached
stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the referenced facility. The original and one copy of
the DMR are attached.
During heavy rains in 2021, several sinkholes developed at the facility. Investigation of the sinkholes found
they were caused by damaged & collapsed stormwater piping. Repairs have been completed but the
decision was made not to collect discharge samples as there was uncertainty as to whether the samples
would be representative of stormwater runoff from the facility.
Quarterly sampling is scheduled to resume during the first quarter of 2022. If you have any questions,
please contact me at tcook@geosenvironmental.com or at (813) 601-4205.
