State project 17BP.7.R.136 involves the replacement of the existing
NCDOT Bridge #400267 on SR 3336 (Coble Church Road) over
Climax Creek. Bridge #400267 consists of 1@32'-6" reinforced
concrete deck girders and abutments; reinforced concrete full height.
The proposed bridge consists of 1@80' 33" box beam with 4'-0" caps.
The proposed
crossing is located in Zone AE of FIRM Map number 3710880000J
and was studied by Redelineated Study methods. Two stormwater
outfalls are proposed which will be placed at a distance to minimize
disturbance to adjacent stream and nearby buffers. Rip Rad pads will
be utilized to dissipate the energy. No deck drains are required for
the proposed
bridge
