This review reflected compliance with the subject permit. The following item of concern was noted: 1. All Field Summary Forms reported the incorrect Plant Available Nitrogen (PAN) rate. The reported rate was 194 Ibs/ac. According to the North Carolina State University Realistic Yield Database the PAN rate for Fairview (FcB2) soils in Wilkes County is 188 Ibs/ac. Moving forward, please ensure that the correct PAN rate is reported. There was no concern for over application. Please direct future land application notification to Caitlin Caudle at 336-776-9699 or caitlin.caudle@ncdenr.gov. A routine compliance inspection will be scheduled this calendar year.
