Subject:PCS Creeks Macroinvertebrate Sampling in May 2014

Karen and David:

As a condition of 401 WQ Certification 3771, DWQ #2008-0868, PCS is required to notify DWR in advance of planned
macroinvertebrate sampling in area estuarine creeks, to allow DWR biologists the opportunity to observe, if interested.
CZR Incorporated biologists will be sampling invertebrates from Jacks, Jacobs, Drinkwater, Project Area 2, Tooley,
Muddy, Little, Long, Porter and Duck Creeks, Huddles Cut, and two unnamed tributaries to Durham Creek in mid to late
May. If anyone on your staff is interested in observing, please call (910 392-9253) or email Sam Cooper
([e-mail]) or Julia Berger ([e-mail]) at CZR Incorporated in Wilmington.
