These responses to comments include the original request for information, reply, aid where any revisions that have been made can be found. Please see the following comments and responses with my replies in BOLD. • Please adjust the project narrative as discussed in our 4/7/22 meeting to elaborate on the need to include the area drains on the plaza (sizable area draining onto the plaza and the inability to divert this area due to the old trees) and to explain that the existing site condition utilized a roof drain collection system that is being replaced in -kind. o The project narrative has been revised per our phone conversation on 4/7/22 and is included in this submittal. + Please provide the discharge calculations for FES 6 and the roof drain for the southeast portion of the bam. It is noted in the project narrative that these discharge velocities are less than 2 fps, but the calculations were not provided and therefore could not be verified (15A NCAC 02H . o Discharge calculations for FES #6 and the roof drains (on the east side of the barn) are included in this submittal as requested. + Application: o Section IV, 8 — The percent impervious area calculation should be done using the project area (Section IV, 7), not the property area (Section W, 4). NOTE: Since this project has existing BUA, you can use the project density method outlined in 15A NCAC 02H .1003(1)(b). ■ Section IV, 8 has been revised per your direction. o Section IV, 10: ■ Total & On -site Drainage Area — These values should correspond to the project area (Section IV, 7), expressed in square feet. 0 Section IV, 10 has been revised per your direction. Page 12 ■ % Impervious Area — Recalculate (See earlier comment). % Impervious Area has been revised per your direction. • Supplement-EZ Form: o Cover Page: ■ Line 2 — This value should correspond to the project area (Section IV, 7). expressed in square feet • Line 2 has been revised per your direction. o Drainage Area Page: ■ Entire Site Column: • Lines 5 & 6 — These values should correspond to the project area (Section IV, 7), expressed in square feet. • Line 8 — This value should equal to total awnount of BUA that is located within the project area (Line 9 + Line 10 + Line 1 I + Line 15). • Line 10 — Please include this item.. 'This item is the sum of all of the BUA listed in Line 12. • Line 18 — Revise if needed in accordance with earlier comments. o The Entire Site Column has been revised to include the above requirements as you requested ■ LD I Column — Please complete this column, For this project, it will be identical to the entire site column. • The Entire Site Column was copied into the LD 1 Column as required. o Low Density Page: ■ Line 12 — This item is required per 15A NCAC 02H .1003(4)(c). ■ Line 14 — Please answer this item. ■ Line 15 — You may wish to add the explanations that will be added to the narrative (explaining the need for the area drains and roof drain collection) to this additional information section. 0 The above questions have been completed as requested.
