Dear Sir/Madam:
On behalf of Salem Steel, this letter serves as notification that a stormwater sample was
not collected during the fourth quarter of 2021. It is our understanding that during this
timeframe, a representative storm event did not occur at a time when the facility was
occupied, and a stormwater sample could be safely collected. Salem Steel's personnel will
endeavor to collect and submit representative stormwater samples for the subsequent
sampling period (Jan. -Mar. 202). If you have any questions or need additional information,
please contact me at (919) 624-0630.
Sincerely,
