Hi Doug,
We submitted the buffer application last night. It didn't include the pdf of the plat since we couldn't get it
converted from jpeg to pdf, but we'll try your latest recommendation if it comes back asking for it.
We've attached the Statement of Availability from DogTown.
Thanks,
Kevin & Retha

Hello Mr. & Mrs. Davis,
In order to receive a DWR project number, you need to submit the application. Once you do that, central office will
assign you a number, which will then be assigned to me. Before I can issue that, however, I need a letter from Dog
Town stating that they have the available credits and will issue them to you once they have our approval.
As far as the jpeg, can you print it out, then scan it back in? It should save as a PDF that way.
Doug

Hello again Doug,
i
Thanks for the info. I let Amy at Dogtown Mitigation know that we need 130 sq ft of credit and she replied by
asking us to:
"provide the approval letter with DWR project number and I will put together an invoice"
Will you be giving us the DWR project number and sending us the approval letter she's referring to so we can
respond to her ?
Also, I tried your tip about opening the jpeg and using ctrl P to get to printer settings to change it to a PDF but
when I do that the printer settings don't include any option to change format.
Thanks,
Kevin & Retha

Hello Mr. & Mrs. Davis,
Ok, so as for the mitigation, you impacted 65 sq. ft. of zone i of the buffer. There is a z:I impact ratio for zone i,
therefore you would need i3o sq. ft. worth of credit.
As far as the plat is concerned, what you can do is open up the jpeg, hit ctrl + P, to open the print function. In the
printer settings, select Print to PDF or Save to PDF. That should get it in the pdf format that you want. Let me know
if that doesn't work.

Doug,
We were able to get the plat downloaded to a jpeg but the buffer application still won't let us upload it, says it
has to be a pdf.
Also, I've left a couple voice mails with Dogtown Mitigation and just now got a call back from Amy. She said
they can do the mitigation and that we need to get from you what the "credit need" is. Kevin had already
measured the steps and they're 65 square feet, but Amy said that's not the same as "credit need". Once we
2
get that from you we can send her all the information she's asking for. Then she'll send us an invoice, and
after we pay it she'll send us the mitigation certificate we have to upload to the buffer application.
Thanks,
Kevin & Retha Davis

Ok, so you should have the plat from when you bought the house/property. If you do, then you can take a picture or
scan it and upload it that way. If you don't have it, then you might be able to take a screen shot (print screen) and
save that as a picture and upload it that way. The rest of the information I can handle on my end but the plat and
application you will have to try and upload as a picture (jpeg or similar format).
