ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
15
Please use this space to provide any additional information about this low density project:
While there are several storm pipes and area drains, these conveyances are simply to move water away trom the building an
serve as extension to the roof drains. The area these drains serve, collect rainfall from the hilled area just north of the proposed
barn. The site was designed with the intention to avoid cutting down several 24+ inch diameter old growth trees. In addition, the
previous barn structure had a similar system in place that directed the roof drain water underground (from the east side of the
barn), into a collector drain, and discharged into a small rip rap section on the west side of the barn. The area drains and pipes
in this design are intended to provide a similar drainage pattern to the one that existed previously and replace it in kind. The
discharge for these pipes is located adjacent to the building and release all stormwater onto a vegetative hill that then sheet
drains within the property. No stormwater impacts to the property are anticipated as part of this project.
