(NCG030000) — Catawba Facility (under COC NCG030078), sampling was completed on the following ROS outfalls on April 5t", 2022 with a rainfall event totaling 0.96" of rain: ROS Outfall 003, 004, 005, 006, 008, 009, and 012. For this event all parameters were below the benchmark EXCEPT for the following for Copper and Zinc: Outfall No. Copper, Total Recoverable (as Cu) Benchmark (in mg/L): 0.010 mg/L Zinc, Total Recoverable (as Zn) Benchmark (in mg/L): 0.126 mg/L 003 0.028 0.010 0.168 0.126 004 0.015 0.010 005 0.023 0.010 0.18 0.126 009 0.028 0.010 012 0.026 0.010 0.18 0.126 1) For this facility, we will still conduct some non-stormwater background sampling to further investigate these exceedances. 2) For this set of samples, we did grab a rainwater sample in a 2.5 gallon bucket that did show a positive result for copper of 0.006 mg/L. 3) Please note that these exceedances will be documented in the SWPPP, and corrective action steps will be implemented to reduce them. Furthermore, best management practices will be utilized to assist with this reduction as well. Please let me know if you need anything further, and you all have a very blessed day. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. Please feel free to call me at 336-366-0870 if you need any other information. Be safe and blessed! Thanks. Nicole Johnston
