The Town of Harmony would like to respond to the NOV dated April 6, 2022 stating that on
February 19, 2022 we had a high fecal result. During that testing period we had high flows from
the rain events that week and we also noticed that our filter had a malfunction. We are working
with Bobby Cox from Purestream which is. the manufacturer of the filter. We also talked with our
lab, Statesville Analytical, to see why there was a breakdown in communications. According to
the Lab, they found that not all the information was switched over to me, Jeff Jones, as the new
ORC contact. I have been assured that this is all fixed. We have also contacted North Carolina
Rural Water to review our sampling SOPs to help with any changes that may be needed. While
getting this response together we had another high fecal result on March 22, 2022. We are
committed to get this under control.
