4. Proposed Activity
Provide a detailed description of the proposed activity including its purpose and include the type of equipment to be used: *
This project is a storage building for a boat trailer. This area previously had an out
building located in a similar location that was closer to the water on all canal exposed
sides, (North and East). This new building will reside X ft. further from the northern
canal side, and X ft. further from the eastern canal side. It is an outbuilding
approximately, xx X xx. It will be a concrete block and wood framed structure with a
traditional "A Framed" roof. It will have a garage style roll -up door on the front for
securing the boat trailer and other contents. There will be a "back door" on the canal
side that can be opened during high water events to allow water to flow through the
building. It will sit on a pad, which will be slightly elevated to mitigate occasional low-
level water events and to help with drainage during high water events.

Comments:
Gutters will be used to drain rainwater into existing planters and front lawn.
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project.
The project replaces and existing building that has resided on the property for
approx. 15 years. The new storage building will have have full gutter coverage to
mitigate rain runoff into the adjacent private canal. The rainwater will be directed to
nearby planters, as well as the front lawn.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
The building will be made primarily of brick/stone on a slightly elevated concreate
foundation. Water runoff will be mitigated from the canal by the use of gutters and
sloping of the foundation and surrounding are to minimize/alleviate and run off during
construction.
E. Diffuse Flow Plan
la. What type of SCM are you providing?*
C Level Spreader
C Vegetated Conveyance (lower SHWT)
C Wetland Swale (higher SHWT)
Proposed project will not create concentrated stormwater flow through the buffer
Other SCM that removed minimum of 30% nitrogen

As stated previously, this structure replaces one that was standing in the same area.
We have moved it as far as possible away from the bulkhead/riparian zones as
possible.
