This review was conducted to determine whether the facility processed and monitored all residuals in compliance with Permit No. WQ0011381. The facility appears to be in compliance with all requirements of their DCAR Permit. The City reported “no distribution” for 2021 and has not distributed since 1998 due to nuisance issues using lime in a populated area. Approximately 732.4 short dry tons of residuals were hauled to the White Oaks Landfill located at 3898 Fines Creek Rd in Waynesville. As a reminder, the City is currently permitted to distribute 0 dry tons of residuals annually. A permit modification would need to be submitted to the Non-Discharge Permitting Unit before distributions resume.
