Box 190 Albemarle, North Carolina 28002-0190 Dear Mr. Ferris: NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality March 21, 2022 via Email Subject: Non -Discharge Permit Inspection And Acknowledgement of Receipt - 2021 Annual Report City of Albemarle - Waste Water Treatment Plant Land Application of Residuals - Permit #WQ0002616 Stanly County Staff of the Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) conducted a compliance inspection on March 11t1, 2022. The City of Albemarle maintains this permit and dedicated field sites for residuals management options, but currently is not utilizing this permit. The MRO received an electronic copy of the referenced 2021 Annual Report, on January 19t", 2022, indicating there was no activity conducted under this permit in 2021. Residuals records, storage, permitted field and monitoring wells viewed, appeared well maintained at the time of inspection. The facility has the option to haul to a landfill or the Rocky River WWTP in Cabarrus County for residuals management as needed. The MRO would like to thank Mr. Brandon Plyler for his time during the inspection. Please contact Maria Schutte by phone (704-235-2184) or email (maria.schuttencdenr.qov) with questions about your permit or the attached inspection report.
