A. Application:
During the March 10, 2021 site visit, it was noted that the modification to Phase I specified in the
January 5, 2015 issued permit has not been constructed expect for the alum and Micro-C systems.
The existing bar screen is located after the EQ basin and has led to daily scrapping of the bar screen,
constant cleaning of the EQ basin, and solids escaping to the clarifier. The static fine screen with
an auger and dewatering press, permitted in the 2015 modification to alleviate this issue, was never
installed. Please provide a time frame for the unconstructed modification or an engineering
certification if the construction of the modification has been completed.
2. It was stated in the additional information for Attachment F that the Permittee has no plan to expand
the 150,000 GPD existing treatment facility. Please confirm that Phase II specified in current permit
will not be constructed and request that conditions and language pertaining to Phase II be removed
from the permit.
