Subject: Supplemental Information Received for Hanson Aggregates - Durham Quarry
More information was received on 9/29/2021 2:20 PM for permit number NCG020088 - Hanson Aggregates - Durham
Quarry.
Notes About Uploads (if included): The Durham Quarry became inactive in the late 1980's, and the City purchased the
pit for use as a reservoir. A small portion of the remaining site is used by Hanson as a sales yard for stone hauled in from
our nearby Rougemont Quarry. Run-off is only affected by wash stone in the load out area. All other areas are stabilized.
Attached is the dormant status request and a stormwater inspection report from the RRO inspection conducted on
12/19/2008.
Additional Comments for Primary Reviewer (if included): This is a Dormant Status request for a quarry that needs
attention. If approved, we can record a monitoring suspension on the outfall(s) in BIMS.
The information submitted for the above permit can be found in the permit file in Laserfiche Client or viewed with a web
