EROSION CONTROL NOTES
EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO ANY OTHER CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY AND MAINTAINED UNTIL
PERMANENT GROUND COVER IS ESTABLISHED.
THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF EROSION CONTROL MEASURES.
THE ESCAPE OF SEDIMENT FROM THE SITE SHALL BE PREVENTED BY THE INSTALLATION OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL
MEASURES AND PRACTICES PRIOR TO LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITIES.
EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. IF FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPROVED PLAN DOES
NOT PROVIDE FOR EFFECTIVE EROSION CONTROL, ADDITIONAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE
IMPLEMENTED TO CONTROL OR TREAT THE SEDIMENT SOURCE.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE GROUND COVER ON DESIGNATED AREAS, PERIMETER SWALES AND DIKES AND SLOPES
GREATER THAN 3:1 WITHIN 7 DAYS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE GROUND
COVER IN 14 DAYS ON ALL OTHER AREAS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING. PERMANENT GROUND COVER
FOR ALL DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN 15 WORKING DAYS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION.
NO PARKING SHALL BE LOCATED OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE. SPECIFICALLY, PARKING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IS
NOT ALLOWED.
