The Division received your request to rescind the subject Certificate of Coverage (CoC) under General Permit
NCG510000. We do not object to this request.
NPDES CoC NCG510094 is hereby rescinded, effective immediately. This message is to close the permit file for the
Division, and for your records.
If in the future you wish to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a
new NPDES permit.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, simply reply to this message.
PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will
be sent regarding the CoC rescission. No hard copy will be mailed.

WSRO agrees that the permit should be rescinded immediately. I have already spoken with Lon about it.

Mr. Thomson,
In order to eliminate the subject permit, the permittee must submit a formal written request and I believe doing so via
email is acceptable, so, let's give that a try.
Your best point of contact in our Central Office NPDES Group is likely Charles Weaver, whom I've copied here, in
addition to my supervisors.
Charles, the permittee has expressed interest in having the subject permit rescinded due to non-use and no foreseeable
need.
I have inspected the facility and there is no NCG510 related discharge at the site and the operator isn't aware of any
either.
With this in mind, the WSRO is fully supportive of rescinding this permit, pending official request from Mr. Thomson, of
course. Mr. Thomson is listed as "Owner" in our database, so, this should suffice.
Please let me know if I'm overlooking anything to wrap this up.

On behalf of Associated Asphalt Greensboro, LLC, I am requesting the CoC be rescinded
immediately. It has not been used and there are no plans requiring this coverage in the
foreseeable future.
Should plans change, which would require coverage under the general permit NCG510000,
Associated Asphalt understands an NOI to discharge must be submitted and a new CoC issued
prior to discharging.
