Permit for this facility (NC0035041) became active February 1, 2019 and expires October 31, 2023. Discharge from treatment facility is via permitted Outfall #001 into the North Fork of Crooked Creek, which is classified as Class C waters in the Yadkin Pee -Dee River Basin. 12-Month review of compliance history for the period February 2021 through January 2022, found no reported permit limit violations. The permitted facility is a 0.3 MGD WWTP consisting of Influent Pump Station, Micro Screen (Bar Screen), 2-Aeration Basins, 2-Secondary Clarifiers, 2-Tertiary Filters, Liquid Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite), Liquid De -chlorination (Sodium Bi-Sulfite), Post Aeration, Continuous Flow Measurement, and Back-up Generator. At time of inspection effluent was clear with no visible suspended solids.
