Michael Stocks, PE. We find the plan to be acceptable and hereby issue this letter of approval. This letter of approval shall be valid for a period not to exceed twenty-four months, or the time required for the proposed construction activities, whichever comes first. Please be advised that Section 801, Sub -section E12 of the City of Rocky Mount's Land Development Code (hereinafter referred to as LDC) requires that a copy of the approved erosion control plan be on file at the job site. Also, you should consider this letter the notice required by the LDC, Section 802, Sub -section Q1 of our right of periodic inspection to ensure compliance with the approved plan. The City of Rocky Mount's Sedimentation Pollution Control Program is performance oriented, requiring protection of the natural resources and adjoining properties. If following the commencement of this project, it is determined that the erosion and sedimentation control plan is inadequate to meet the requirements of the Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance of the City of Rocky Mount (Section 801 of the LDC, also NCGS 113A-51 through 66,) this office will require revisions to the plan and implementation of the revisions to ensure compliance with the �252) 972-1121 1 331 S. The developer is responsible for the control of sediment on -site. If the approved erosion and sedimentation control measures prove insufficient, the developer must take additionalsteps necessary to stop sediment from leaving this site. Each sediment storage device must be inspected after each storm event, Maintenance and/or clean out, is necessary. anytime the device is at .54%u capacity. Please be aware that this. approval is .based. in part. on the accuracy of the information in the Financial Re sponsibilitylQwnership Farm, which you have provided. You are required to file an amended form if there is: any change in the information included on the form. Also; please note that this approval does not relieve the permittee of the :responsibility to obtain any other Federal, States or Local approvals or permits; The responsible party may need to contact the appropriate Federal, State, and Local agencies prior to beginning work. This approval does not permit the. construction of any impervious surface, nor does it allow. for the placement of fill in any area for which a floodplain development permit is -required. In addition, LDC Section 801 -El 0. requires that you notify this office of the proposed starting date for this prof ect. Also; this letter gives the notice required by G.S. 113A. 61.1(a):of our right of periodic inspection to ensure compliance with the approved plan. .As of April 1, 2019, all new construction activities are required to complete and submit an. electronic Notice of Intent (NOI) form requesting a Certificate of `Coverage (COC) under the NCGO10000 Construction 'Stormwater General Permit.
