GENERAL PUMPING SEQUENCE:
I. USE PUMP TO PUMP FLOW AROUND DURING CONSTRUCTION.
2. SET UP ROCK SILT CHECK DAM AT DOWNSTREAM END OF THE CHANNEL AT THE
END OF EACH DAY (SANDBAGS ARE AN ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATIVE.)
3. BELOW THE CHECK DAM, WATER WILL FLOW INTO THE EXISTING PIPE. MAKE SURE
NO LOOSE SOIL IS PRESENT AROUND THE PIPE INLET. USE SOD MATS, COIR MATTING
OR STONE TO STABILIZE ANY BARE GROUND.
4. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT DAY, RESHAPE AS NECESSARY AND USE THE CHECK
DAM AS THE IMPERVIOUS DIKE FOR THE PUMP AROUND OPERATION - INSTALL
