Each comment is addressed below. 1. Grass swale 1 was redesigned to provide 100 feet of swale per acre of drainage area. The corrected worksheet is attached. 2. Although the existing slope at grass swales 3 and 4 are greater than five percent, the swales will be graded and constructed with slopes that do not exceed four percent. 3. Riprap dissipator 7 has been moved so that it is directly adjacent to the wetland that we discussed with Annette Lucas on August 9, 2007. 4. Dated, labeled photographs of the buffer vegetation downslope of every proposed level spreader are attached. Due to the presence of a wooded buffer, level spreaders 1 and 5 were re-designed to include bypass swales. New worksheets for all of the proposed level spreaders are attached. Also, attached is a full-size sheet of the revised project plan at a scale of 1" = 100'. Because of the project size, we have also include an 11x17 key sheet of the project showing the locations of larger scale insets (1" = 60') to aid in the review process. Revised Insets A, C, E, and G and bypass details are also attached. If you have any Mr. Ian McMillan August 21, 2007 Page 2 of 2 questions or require more information, please do not hesitate to contact me at (919) 841- 9977.
