The Washington Regional Office has conducted a review of Contentnea Metropolitan Sewerage
District 2021 Pretreatment Annual Report (PAR). The review indicates that the PAR is in good
order and satisfies the requirements of 15A NCAC 2H .0908(b) and the Comprehensive Guidance
for North Carolina Pretreatment Programs. The next PAR will be due March 1, 2023.
The allocation table that was submitted with the Pretreatment Annual Report states that the SIU' s
permits expired on September 30, 2021. I talked with Renee on March 28, 2022 and she verified
that the SIU permits were issued with an effective date of October 1, 2021. Renee stated that when
the headworks analysis is approved the new dates will be updated in the allocation table.
