In response to NOV-2020-LV-0819 for August 2020 NDMR exceedance of NH3 parameter, we
were having issues with plant nitrification, aeration of biologicals and drop in alkalinity levels which took
the plant some time to adjust along with some changes in chemical. Levels have returned to normal since
making some adjustments to plant processes and chemical switch for a more stable alkalinity level and
has been noticeably more effective in all monitoring/reporting parameters. We are continuing to work
diligently towards maintaining compliance.
