George,
I was looking over the information you provided on 3/17/2022. Please provide a second hard copy of plan sheets SP2, SP
5, and SP6 (all dated 3/10/22). We require 2x hard copies of plan sheets (per 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2) and as indicated in
my previous email, highlighted) but only one was provided.

George,
I was looking over the information you provided on 3/3/2022. Everything looks good except for a few small issues:
Please correct the following:
- Application:
o Prior Comment — Section IV, 7 — Please use the property area (10.35 ac) as the project area. An updated
page 3 of the Application with this information corrected was not provided in the prior submission.
- Supplement-EZ Form:
o Drainage Areas Page:
■ Line 4—This project only has one low -density drainage area (since both swales ultimately drain
to the same place it is considered as one drainage area). Please revise (the individual swale
drainage area information is shown on the Low -density Page).
■ Line 12, Roof — Since the prior submission, 2,680 sf of "roof" BUA has been added to this form
and is not accounted for in the calculations/plans. Please clarify what/where this BUA is and
revise as needed.
o Prior Comment — Low -Density Page — It appears as though the drainage areas for the swales have been
swapped. Per the plans, the western drainage area (Lots 12-22) should have a larger drainage area than
the eastern drainage area (Lots 1-11). The additional information section (Line 15) states that swale 1
(with the larger drainage area) is the eastern ditch and that swale 2 (with the smaller drainage area) is
the western ditch. Please revise.
- Calculations:
o Prior Comment — Similar to the prior comment about the calculations, "eastern" and "western" appear
to be switched in the calculations. The calculations show the swale with the larger drainage area as the
eastern ditch and the swale with the smaller drainage area as the western ditch. Please revise.
- Electronic Submission:
o Prior Comment — I have not yet received the electronic file submission for this project. Internally, it can
take a couple of days to process the uploaded electronic files so if you have uploaded them fairly
recently, they may not have come through yet (and you can ignore this item) but if you have not yet
done so, please upload the electronic files associated with this project at the following link:
https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload
Please provide the following:
- 1x electronic copy of all of the submittal files. This information was requested in the 12/29/2021 email but was
not provided.
- 1x hard copy and 1x electronic copy of the revised pages of the Application.
- 1x hard copy and 1x electronic copy of the revised pages of the Supplement-EZ Form.
- 1x hard copy and 1x electronic copy of the revised pages of the calculations.
- 1x hard copy (2x hard copies for plans) and 1x electronic copy of any other items needed to address these
comments.
Hard copies should be mailed to me at the following address:
For Fed Ex/UPS:
Jim Farkas
512 N. Salisbury Street, Office 640E
Raleigh, NC 27604
For USPS:
Jim Farkas
1612 Mail Service Center
Raleigh, NC 27699-1612
Hand Delivery:
Please reach out to me prior to hand delivering a submission to make sure that I (or someone else in my group)
will be able to receive the submission. Do not leave the package in the foyer with the security guard.
NOTE: Hard copies should not be sent to a Regional Office. Doing so will delay the review process and the
submission package may be lost while being sent from the Regional Office to me in the Central Office.
Electronic copies should be uploaded at the following location:
https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload
Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies, anything else that may have changed from addressing
these issues, and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the
permit without doing another formal 30-45 day review.
Let me know if you have any questions.

George,
I was looking over the information you provided on 12/29/2021. Everything looks good except for a few small issues:
Please correct the following:
- Application:
o Section I, 2 —The address on the Application is listed as "NC-210 South at Ray Rd." (it looks like the
project should have a Sanderosa Rd. address), the project is listed as being in Harnett County (it's in
Cumberland County), and please provide the town/city that the project is located in ("Adjacent/west of
4305 Sanderosa Road" was provided).
o Section 11, 2 — Both the high and low density options are selected (and the project does not appear to be
a high density project). Please revise or explain how this project is also a high density project.
o Sections III, 2 & IX — Since the Applicant is also the Property Owner, Sections III, 2 & IX of the Application
do not need to be completed. Please revise.
o Section IV, 7 — Please use the property area (10.35 ac) as the project area.
- Supplement-EZ Form:
o Drainage Areas Page, LD1 Column — Please fill out this column. For this project, it will be the exact same
as the entire site column.
o Low -Density Page, Drainage Area Column — It appears as though the drainage areas for the swales have
been swapped. The eastern swale (swale 1) should have a drainage area of 3.08 ac per the
calculations/DA map and the western swale (swale 2) should have a drainage area of 3.28 ac per the
calculations/DA map.
- Calculations:
o See attached (the calculations are correct, but it looks like "eastern" and "western" were switched).
Please revise for clarity.
- 1x hard copy and 1x electronic copy of the revised pages of the calculations.

comments.

Good Morning,
We received your post -construction stormwater permit application for the above mentioned project on 12/29/2021.
Reviews under the standard permitting process generally take 30 — 45 calendar days, but can take up to 90 calendar
days per statute (our other reviewer, Corey Anen, no longer works for the State, so this review will probably be closer to
45 days than 30). Please upload all documents that you mailed into our office through the link provided below. Be sure
to choose the Central Office as the Primary Contact office.
https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that each file is uploaded under its appropriate file type. Additional file types can be
entered into the electronic form by clicking on the "Add Another Post -Construction File Upload" link directly below the
"State Stormwater Information Uploads" section of the form. Please do not upload entire plan sets through this form,
but rather upload the relevant individual sheets under the appropriate file type. Selecting the correct file type ensures
that the files are properly named in the electronic repository and it helps expedite the review process.
Please type in permit #: SW6211206
If you have any questions, please contact Jim Farkas Jim. Farkas@ncdenr.gov 919-707-3646.

Good Morning,
We received your application for a new post -construction stormwater permit on 12/7/2021. At this time, the submission
is not administratively complete and cannot be accepted for review in its current condition. Please provide the following
submittal items within 30 calendar days (by close of business on 1/7/2021) so that we may accept the project and begin
the review process, otherwise, the project will be returned as administratively incomplete.
1x complete hard copy of the Supplement-EZ Form. This item is required per Section IV, 3 of the Application. The
Drainage Area Page of this form is missing information (Please provide a revised hard copy of this page, you do
not need to revise/provide the other pages of the Supplement-EZ Form since they were completely provided).
Please revise Line 4 to indicate that this project has 1 low -density drainage area (to correspond with Section IV,
9 of the Application). Please click on the "Click to load form" link under Line 5 to bring up the entire
site/drainage area table (this table basically shows the same information as the table in Section IV, 10 of the
Application).
1x original signed (in pen) & sealed hard copy of the complete O&M Agreement Form. This item is required per
Section IV, 3 of the Application and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(j). Please indicate the type of low -density area that
this project contains (there is a drop -down list in the right column (just right of "Type:") on the "Low Density'
line of the cover page) and provide the "Low Density' sheet of the spreadsheet (Listing the low -density
maintenance requirements). A new signed hard copy of this form is required since there are changes being
made to the cover page.
1x original signed (in pen) & sealed hard copy of the required Deed Restriction Document. These documents are
required per Section VI, 2 of the Application and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(k). The document can be found at the
following address: https://deg.nc.gov/about/divisions/energy-mineral-and-land-
resources/stormwater/stormwater-program/post-construction-program/post-construction-forms
2x hard copies of a full-sized plan sheet showing the following (NOTE: Only updated plan sheets need to be
provided, we do not require brand new sets of plans):
o Drainage area map for the vegetated conveyances. This item is required per Section VI, 8o of the
Application and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(iv).
o Wetland delineation or a note on the plans stating that there are no wetlands located on -site. This item
is required per Section VI, 8m of the Application and 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(iii).
NOTE: This is an administrative completeness review, not a detailed engineering review. The detailed engineering
review will be performed once the submission is administratively complete. It was noted during this administrative
review that the project location (Section I, 2 of the Application) does not appear to be correct. Addressing this item is
not required for administrative completeness, but if not addressed now it will be brought up during the in-depth.
If these items are received within the stipulated timeframe, we can accept the project and begin the review process.
Once accepted, reviews under the standard permitting process generally take 30 — 45 calendar days, but can take up to
90 calendar days per statute (one of our two reviewer positions is currently vacant so this review will probably be closer
to 45 days than 30).
Hard copies should be mailed to the following address:
For Fed Ex/UPS:
Jim Farkas
512 N. Salisbury Street, Office 640E
Raleigh, NC 27604
For USPS:

1612 Mail Service Center
