Southern Power Plant Rowan has requested approval of the following chemical, Foamtrol
AF2290. This product will be discharged into their Outfall 002 and in to the Second Creek.
Calculations predict the use of this product, at the stated dosage rate, will not cause toxic impacts
to aquatic life in the receiving stream, Second Creek. Therefore, the use of this product as an
additive to their cooling water system at Southern Power Plant Rowan is acceptable.
