This letter is the City of New Bern's acknowledgement of the deficiencies listed in NOD-2022-
PC-0011. This correspondence is also a notice of the city's intent to comply with and bring up to date
the deficient items found during the December 10, 2021, MS4 audit.
• We will work to improve documentation across all spectrums of our program; to include training
records
• Create Operation and Maintenance programs for each facility
• Ensure all municipal facilities have accessible Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
• Continue the implementation of a more conducive website
We will submit all corrections and additions to stormwater program no later than May 20, 2022, for
review by the DEQ-DEMLR. If you have question or concerns, feel free to contact this office.
