COLUMBUS COUNTY
Attached are graphs supporting the I/1 evaluation for Tabor City in Columbus County. The first graph presents
permitted flow, reported daily effluent flow, and daily precipitation. The precipitation data was provided by the
North Carolina State Climate Office. The closest precipitation station was in Whitesville, close to 25 miles away.
The data does not suggest an I/1 problem, though there may be problem with their flow meter. I say this because
there are times when the flow goes from 0.2 MGD one day to over 5.0 MGD the next day.
