The West Point on the Eno is not only an important environmental buffer for the ecosystem of Durham, it is a
vital connection with nature for Durham's residents. I have taken 2 decades worth of Durham Public School
students to explore there and learn. Many of them have never been in "nature". Keeping a large part of the Eno
protected is important for the future of Durham and Durham's future leaders.
