Our community fears, I think with great reason, that this project will not only destroy historic and natural sites that
are keystones of our city (and home to native and endangered wildlife) but also put our drinking water at
substantial risk. Runoff from development that will inevitably make its way into Durham's municipal water supply
is an issue entirely ignored by this application. The effects on historic sites that will be bulldozed by this project is
perhaps not something necessary for this application to address, but will produce a gross reworking of our city.
There are certainly areas of Durham with plenty of available space to create large living communities, but to
destroy beloved Eno territory is a sad mistake.
