I believe that this is an significant impact for Durham's water quality, wildlife preservation, and historical sites,
and I don't believe it's in the interest of the citizens here, but rather the developers, who are going through
whatever loopholes they can find in order to get what they want to make a profit. My understanding is there have
already been two violations of clearing land without prior approval and that the initial approval was a closed door
affair with zero public input when it greatly affects the public and to me this speaks volumes as to what the
developers care for Durham, the area, the people, and the history here. They don't. At all. They just want profit
and they don't care if it's to the city's detriment so it's up to the city to protect itself.
