As a Durham resident that lives on the Eno river, downstream from the proposed construction, I am vehemently
against the issuing of this build permit. Please do not allow a developer to destroy such a wonderful park and
thriving ecosystem. This habitat is home to our endemic, near -threatened Neuse River waterdog (Necturus
lewisi). The proposed construction is at the furthest Western reach of the waterdog's natural range. Construction
and residents for 400 homes will degrade the headwater, not only affecting the waterdog but all animals and
plants downstream. This would be bad for the Eno and for the residents of Durham that enjoy clean water.
Please say NO to this project.
