I am opposed to the project for many reasons that include the need for Durham to preserve natural habitat,
protect drinking water, and resist the temptation to overdevelop when money is cheap and the market is high.
What I love about Durham is its access to nature, but that access is quickly shrinking. To allow these kinds of
developments like Westpoint is to change the character of this town and one of its gems, the Eno River State
Park.
